Merely existing

I look in the mirror,
And a complete stranger stares back at me,

Red, puffed eyes,
Face, drained of all emotion but one

Disgust drips down,
As I look at my reflection

I am so full of flaws,
So imperfect, so insignificant

I feel so small, in this gigantic world
I feel like I am not worth living

Yet, I carry on,
Merely existing.

  1. Trust you me, we all have flaws- they make us who we are and we’re nothing without them. So love your flaws and turn them into your source of strength. & don’t let yourself down over your ‘insignificance’ because you are unique in SO many ways. Nothing can ever replace you.

    Keep Smiling x
