Lost

Not in the dark woods,
Nor in a land enslaved by magic

But, amongst those crowds,
With faces brightened by bliss

You may find one such smile,
Faded, crooked and not as bright

Eyes wandering on and about,
As if in search of something long lost

Seeking happiness, expecting sorrow
She is lost, within the darkness in herself

Lost within these crowds, she is
In the search of the real her.
