The Wall

Coldness, arrogance,

Silence and shame,

A small drop of hatred,

And the mixture is made.

I apply this cement,

On the bricks,

I made,

with the red of my blood.

Brick after brick,

And a wall is built,

Doesn’t seem tall enough,

So I’ll add another brick.

And when it’s finally done,

Rays of the sun,

Can penetrate my wall none.

Hammers, wrecking balls,

You can even try,

the explosions of a bomb.

But none can break down,

My mighty wall.

So I shall stay in,

Till my soul leaves this,

Body that has rotten,

With self loathe and misery.
